I have a B.A in Illustration and a minor in sculpting, graduated Cum Laude from Laguna College of art and Design. Working on a 3D modeling BA from Art Institute San Francisco. Minor studies include: Art History, Psychology, Ancient Egyptian history and Hieroglyphics.
I have studied under Richard Miranda who has done special effects for such movies as Friday the 13th and A Nightmare on Elm Street among many others. I have mentored under Ray Persinger for sculpture, August Spivey and Sher Swaim for Classical Art. I studded for 4 years under Myrona DeLaney for singing. I have been a Phantom fan since 1992 and have been running Phantomstheater.com since 1999.
I have volunteered for a mock triage for Chock Hospital, makeup for the children's cancer patient ward for Halloween, Head makeup designer on the musical Saturday Evening Post, theater technical and makeup work for over 5 years, helped design and performed 2 years in Richard Miranda Haunted Houses, worked down at Pageant of the Masters and worked at the Silent Movie Theater in LA.
I have met a great many people and was able to talk to them. Such as Ron Chaney, Wally Wingert, Carla Laemmle, Brad Little, Rob Zombie, Tom Savini, Rick Baker, Linda Eder, Susan Egan, Rob Cuccioli, Anthony Crivello amongst others.
I have done a great many things, such as been able to hold the original 1925 Phantom of the Opera reel in my hands, watched it before it was remastered and released on DVD. I was able to wear Lon Chaney's Unholy Three coat. I have read 4 books on Lon Chaney and spent my life Researching and perfecting his Phantom makeup. I was lucky enough to play both ALW's Phantom at a Haunted house performance and play Yeston and Kopit's Phantom, as well as Sweeney Todd. My singing range is bari-tenor to mezzo-soprano.
Learning never stops for me and I think the people who stop are fools. I have had many battles in my life and I have had to pick and choose carefully whom I allow into my personal world. Sadly there are people who are false and are just looking out for them selves and one must stand up and protect them selves against them. Never apologize for standing up for what you believe in even if it's not a popular point of view. Keep going and you shall rise above.
